Gamer husband stabs wife to death

A tragic domestic incident in Mahadevapura resulted in the death of a home guard, Manjula (32), who was stabbed by her husband, Pradeep. The attack occurred on Sunday evening at Manjula's parental home in B Narayanapura. Pradeep, allegedly addicted to online betting and facing financial distress, lured Manjula into a reconciliation meeting. He had reportedly recorded selfie videos expressing despair over his betting habit ruining his family, stating both he and his wife would die.

Manjula had been living separately from Pradeep due to years of marital discord and his frequent accusations regarding her character and the paternity of their children. During the meeting, Pradeep, who had concealed a knife, attacked Manjula in front of their two children and other family members, inflicting numerous stab wounds. He then allegedly attempted to harm himself before fleeing the scene. Manjula succumbed to her injuries. Police have arrested Pradeep and are continuing their investigation.
