Upon questioning, the four accused - Mubarak (21), Abdul Anas (21), Umar Farooq (41), and Hitesh (21) - admitted to consuming prohibited narcotics. A medical examination conducted the same day confirmed the consumption of illegal drugs. The police have registered a case under Section 27(b) of the NDPS Act, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
