A renowned forensic artist, Lois Gibson, has created a sketch of the masked individual believed to be involved in the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, mother of "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie. Gibson, with nearly four decades of experience as a forensic artist for the Houston Police Department, felt moved to act after seeing surveillance footage released by the Pima County Sheriff's Office.
The footage shows a masked person on Nancy Guthrie's front porch on the night of her abduction. While not officially associated with the case, Gibson used her expertise to draw the suspect's likeness, aiming to provide a possible visual clue. She described the nose as generic, not large or hook-shaped, and not protruding significantly.
Nancy Guthrie was reportedly kidnapped from her Tucson, Arizona, home on February 1st in the middle of the night. The Pima County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking tips from the public and has described the masked suspect as a male, approximately 5'9" to 10" in height.
