Pamela Dresser, a 59-year-old Florida resident, was arrested on June 7 for allegedly driving her pickup truck towards a group of children playing outside. She claimed she was making a wide turn to avoid a cart and denied swerving at the children. However, witnesses reported seeing her swerve and heard her use racial slurs and make the "target practice" comment, which she later called a joke.
During her arrest, Dresser allegedly made threatening remarks to the officers, promising a "special present." She is currently held at Brevard County Jail on a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court again on July 2.
