Woman Arrested for Allegedly Killing Two Ex-Husbands in One Day

A 51-year-old woman from Citrus County, Florida, has been arrested and charged with the second-degree murder of one ex-husband, with prosecutors planning to seek more severe charges. This arrest follows revelations that she allegedly killed another ex-husband hours earlier in Hillsborough County. The investigation suggests a "brazen" double homicide that began with the shooting death of her second ex-husband in Hillsborough County before she traveled to Manatee County.

Authorities responded to a shooting call in Bradenton, where a man was found with a gunshot wound. He identified his ex-wife as the shooter before succumbing to his injuries. Detectives determined Avalon allegedly used stolen food to pose as a delivery driver. The victim's teenage daughter reported seeing a silver Honda Odyssey fleeing the scene. License plate readers tracked the vehicle back to Avalon's home, where she was observed attempting to clean the car.
