A manhunt is underway for Isabelle Rose Johnson, 38, who is wanted in connection with the murder of Jason Christopher Coulthart. Coulthart's body was found buried in a shallow grave on June 25 in Freeport, Florida, nearly a month after he was reported missing on May 24. Johnson, described as a "cunning master manipulator," has reportedly used various disguises and aliases, such as "Harley" and "Jessica Elaine Bowman," to evade capture since a warrant was issued for her arrest on June 26.
Multiple law enforcement agencies have joined forces in the search for Johnson, offering a $16,000 reward for any information that leads to her apprehension. Investigators have released surveillance photos and a mugshot from Carroll County, Georgia, showing Johnson with different hairstyles and accessories in an attempt to aid the public in identification. Sheriff Michael Adkinson has warned that anyone found assisting Johnson in evading arrest, including providing shelter or lying on her behalf, will face criminal charges, emphasizing the seriousness of the homicide investigation.
So far, five people have been arrested for allegedly aiding Johnson in her evasion. The victim, Jason Christopher Coulthart, 43, leaves behind a son. He was last seen leaving the College Condominiums on East College Boulevard.
