Florida Dad Kills Children in Murder-Suicide

Authorities in Florida are investigating a tragic murder-suicide that resulted in the deaths of a father and his two young children. The victims, 5-year-old Aria Dingwall and 7-year-old Remy Dingwall, were found in their father Joseph Dingwall's home in Cocoa, Florida, on Wednesday, October 7th. Police stated that evidence at the scene strongly indicates Joseph was responsible for the children's deaths before ending his own life.

The children's mother discovered the bodies after becoming concerned when they missed school. She arrived at the residence, found the door ajar, and entered to find the deceased. A neighbor informed police that they heard gunshots near midnight, around the same time surveillance footage captured a man exiting and pacing outside the home.

Fundraisers have been established to support the children's mother, Olivia Piccolo, during this devastating time. Remy was remembered as a kind and intelligent boy, excelling in school and fiercely protective of his sister. Aria was described as a bright, courageous, and compassionate little girl. Loved ones emphasized that the siblings were best friends and should have had the opportunity to grow old together.
