Flo App Users Could Get Millions in Settlement
6 Oct
Summary
- Users of Flo fertility app between 2016 and 2019 may get a payout.
- Settlement fund amounts to nearly $60 million for affected users.
- Lawsuit alleged Flo sold private health data to tech giants.
Millions of individuals who used the Flo fertility app between November 1, 2016, and February 28, 2019, are now eligible to receive a portion of a nearly $60 million class action settlement. The deadline to submit a claim for this settlement is October 15.
The settlement addresses accusations that Flo, along with analytics platforms Flurry and tech giants Google and Meta, illegally sold users' private health data. Although Flo, Flurry, and Google have settled, denying any wrongdoing, Meta was found liable in August 2025 for its role in unauthorized data collection. Those eligible for the "Meta Verdict" will be contacted separately.
The final settlement is pending court approval on October 29. Eligible claimants in California are expected to receive double the amount awarded to those in other states. Payment methods will include PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Amazon, direct deposit, or paper check.
