Summary
- FBI obtained thumbnail images from backyard cameras.
- No suspicious activity captured on Nancy Guthrie's cameras.
- Investigators believe Nancy Guthrie was targeted.

The FBI has recently recovered thumbnail images from motion-activated cameras at the Arizona residence of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today co-host Savannah Guthrie. Nancy Guthrie has been missing since February 1st. The recovered images are from cameras pointing to the backyard, side yard, and swimming pool areas. However, these cameras did not record any suspicious activity or footage from the night of her abduction.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department confirmed they are analyzing various forms of evidence, including laboratory materials and camera footage. Sheriff Chris Nanos previously warned that the suspect in Nancy's disappearance might strike again, suggesting she was targeted. Nancy was taken from her Tucson home in the early morning hours of February 1st. Her family reported her missing after she failed to join friends for a virtual church service.
Investigators discovered blood spatter belonging to Nancy on her front porch and released surveillance footage showing a masked, armed man on her porch. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5'9"-5'10" tall. Nancy's doorbell camera was disconnected at 1:47 a.m. on February 1st, followed by a dark figure appearing on camera at 2:12 a.m. Her pacemaker was disconnected from its app at 2:28 a.m.
The investigation remains active, with law enforcement tracking hundreds of leads and detaining individuals for questioning, though no DNA matches have been found. The family has increased the reward for information leading to Nancy's recovery or an arrest to up to $1 million and donated $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
