A devastating tragedy has befallen a Utah father, Brady Harmon, who was just days away from reuniting with his four children for the first time in over six years. The children, Harper (13), Hudson (11), and twins Gavin and Gracelynn (10), were discovered deceased on June 23rd in a New York apartment.
They were found alongside their mother, Sarah Myers (44), and maternal grandmother, Amy Steadman (64). Police have classified the children's deaths as homicides, while Myers and Steadman's deaths are being treated as suicides. Evidence at the scene included prescription and over-the-counter medications, suggesting intentional poisoning, along with a handwritten note.
Harmon had been engaged in a lengthy legal battle for custody and visitation rights. He was scheduled to travel to New York on July 1st to bring his children to Utah for a two-month summer visit, a plan that now lies in ruins. The children had not seen their father in person since their parents' separation in November 2019.
