A shocking discovery was made late Friday night in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, as the bodies of a father and his young son were found. The deceased, identified as 35-year-old Shubhankar Sahu and his six-year-old son Devanshu Sahu, hailed from Kolkata. They had been lodging at a hotel near Bairia Bus Stand for the past five days.
The incident came to light when a hotel employee, attempting to clean the room, received no response after knocking. This prompted the hotel management to alert the authorities. Upon entry, police and hotel staff were met with the grim scene of both individuals hanging inside the room.
Following the discovery, the bodies were transferred for post-mortem examination at Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital. The police have secured the room and a forensic team was called to collect evidence. Hotel staff are being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation to ascertain the motive behind the suspected suicide.
