Father Kills Self After Attacking Daughter

A shocking incident unfolded in Nagpur where a 53-year-old property dealer, Ramprasad Tiwari, violently attacked his 18-year-old daughter. He used a wooden bat and knife, inflicting severe injuries including a fractured skull. The father then purchased and consumed poison, resulting in his death on the street.

Neighbors alerted the police after hearing the commotion. Officers found the bleeding daughter and rushed her to the hospital, where her condition is reported as stable. Simultaneously, Tiwari was found deceased nearby and pronounced dead at a hospital, initially believed to be a separate incident.

Investigations revealed Tiwari harbored deep suspicions about his wife's faithfulness and was controlling of his daughters' friendships. This, coupled with alcohol addiction, led to frequent domestic disputes. The attack occurred while his wife was at a temple and younger daughters were at school.
