Crawford then allegedly shot Morrow in the chest.
Crawford was arrested and charged with murder. During a June 9 court hearing, a judge set his bond at $250,000 cash only, with conditions including home confinement and a ban on possessing firearms. The defense argued self-defense, but investigators noted a significant time lapse between the initial store encounter and the shooting. Morrow was pronounced dead at UAB Hospital.
