In Delhi's Shahdara, a fatal altercation has led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man. The suspect allegedly used a wooden stick to strike and kill 36-year-old Danua during a drunken dispute. The incident reportedly took place on Saturday evening.
Danua, originally from Hatras in Uttar Pradesh, ran a shop selling earthen pots and also worked as a pedal rickshaw puller. He was found dead on the roadside in Mahila Colony with severe head injuries.
The accused, identified as Banti, a rickshaw puller from Aligarh, was arrested on the spot. A case has been registered under the murder section of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the Geeta Colony police station.
