In Faridabad's Mujhedi village, a 30-year-old dairy business owner narrowly avoided being shot outside his residence on Wednesday. The incident occurred when two unidentified men on a motorcycle allegedly fired multiple rounds at him. Fortunately, the shots missed their target, and the man escaped unhurt. Two spent cartridges were recovered from the scene by authorities.
The alleged shooting is believed to be linked to a drunken altercation that took place on the evening of January 13 outside a local wine shop. Sources suggest an underlying rivalry related to DJ equipment, which has persisted for approximately five years, may have also contributed to the escalating tension.
An FIR has been registered against two individuals, Gaurav and Sanjay, at Sadar Ballabgarh police station under charges of attempted murder. Police teams are actively conducting searches to apprehend the absconding suspects. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities pursuing leads to ensure the accused are brought to justice. It is noted that the complainant also has several assault cases registered against him.
