Parking Dispute Turns Deadly in Village Clash

A heated family dispute over a car parked in Gumgaon village on Wednesday morning devolved into a violent clash involving gunfire, resulting in five individuals sustaining serious injuries. The conflict reportedly began when Pravin Deotale parked his car, obstructing an access road to his uncle Nana Deotale's property, sparking a heated argument.

The altercation quickly turned physical when Pravin and his brother Nitin allegedly attacked Nana and his son Gajanan with shovels. In retaliation, Nana Deotale, who possesses a licensed 12-bore gun, allegedly fired shots, hitting Pravin and his friend Vijay Manawar. Pravin sustained a chest wound, while Manawar suffered an abdominal injury requiring the removal of a kidney.

Following the shooting, Nana reportedly struck Nitin on the head with a shovel. All five injured were taken to different hospitals, with Pravin in critical condition. Hingna police are investigating the incident, including Nana Deotale's gun license and the underlying property dispute, and have registered cross-cases for attempt to murder against both factions of the family.
