In Navi Mumbai, a shocking incident has led to the arrest of a ward boy who was posing as a doctor. The accused, Sandesh Yashwant Pashte, administered injections to a 21-year-old woman, Prachiti Bhikuram Bhuvad, for irregular periods on February 5. He claimed to be treating her for Polycystic Ovary Disorder (PCOD).
Pashte charged the victim's family Rs 15,000 for a promised five-injection course. After administering two injections at the woman's residence, she fell unconscious. Panicked, Pashte advised the father to discard the used syringes and medical waste.
The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, but she tragically passed away two hours later. When confronted by her family, Pashte confessed his true identity as a ward boy from a private nursing home in Andheri, Mumbai.
