Extramarital Affair Ends in Brutal Murder in Coimbatore

In a tragic turn of events, two men were murdered in separate incidents in the rural areas of Coimbatore district last week.

The first victim, 28-year-old S Santhosh, was killed on Thursday night by two men over an extramarital affair. Santhosh, who worked as a cashier at a petrol bunk, had developed an affair with the wife of B Ravichandran, 29. This led to frequent quarrels between the two men. On the night of the incident, Ravichandran and his friend S Naveen Kumar, 24, went to the petrol bunk and picked a fight with Santhosh. They attacked him with an iron rod, causing severe injuries that led to his death on the spot.

The second victim, 30-year-old D Manikandan, was killed in a domestic dispute. Manikandan, who lived with his mother and sister Anju and her husband S Ajith Kumar, 29, was stabbed by Ajith Kumar on October 6th. Ajith, a drunkard, often quarreled with his wife Anju, demanding money for alcohol. On the night of the incident, Ajith Kumar stabbed Manikandan multiple times when he tried to intervene. Manikandan was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on Friday.
