Ex-Cop Denies Coercive Behavior Charges

A former police officer has pleaded not guilty to charges of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour. Daniel Boulter, aged 49, appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and denied the two counts against him.
The alleged incidents are said to have occurred between 2016 and 2018, a period during which Boulter was employed as an officer with Lincolnshire Police. He has since left the force, departing in 2019.
Mr. Boulter, who resides in Sheffield, was granted bail following the hearing. His case has been adjourned, and he is expected to appear at Leicester Crown Court on February 2.
