She was ultimately sentenced to a 12-month community order, encompassing rehabilitation activities, 270 hours of unpaid work, and ordered to pay £1,204 in damages.
In addition to the community sentence, the woman received an 18-month restraining order prohibiting contact with her ex-partner.
