A shooting incident in Englewood on April 1 led to the arrest of three men, as announced by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office. Police responded to gunshots near Park View Housing Apartments and found a 33-year-old man with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities have charged Joshua M. Khan, 19, of Englewood, with first-degree attempted murder and weapons offenses, alleging he fired five shots at the victim, with two hitting him before he fled the scene. Khan was apprehended on April 2.
Two additional individuals were arrested at the scene on the day of the shooting. A 20-year-old from Cresskill was found with a 9mm handgun, hollow-nose ammunition, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, facing weapons and drug charges. A 24-year-old from Lodi was also arrested with a significant quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A 25-caliber handgun, believed to be the weapon used in the shooting, was recovered by police. All three arrested individuals are being held at Bergen County Jail pending their court appearances.
