Ex-Amadeus Manager Accused of Stealing Rs 87 Crore Software Code

An FIR has been registered against Ashuthosh Nigam, a former Senior Manager Research Scientist at Amadeus software Labs India (P) Ltd. Nigam is accused of stealing the company's proprietary software source code, valued at approximately 8,000,000 Euros (about Rs 87 crore). The alleged incident occurred on October 11, 2025, when Nigam is said to have unauthorizedly accessed and ex-filtrated source code and other confidential data.
Nigam reportedly transferred the sensitive information to his personal email account without company consent. Following an internal confrontation where records and reports were presented, Nigam allegedly admitted to ex-filtrating the source code, an admission that was video recorded by the company. Consequently, his employment was terminated on December 3, 2025.
