Domestic Worker's Tragic Demise: Usha Devi Hangs Herself in Pataudi Home

In a tragic incident that has shaken the Darapur village community, a 32-year-old woman named Usha Devi died by suicide on October 19th, 2025. Usha Devi, who worked as a domestic helper, was found hanging in her room in the evening hours.

According to the police, Usha Devi had an argument with her husband, Pawan, who is a laborer, earlier that day. The couple had two children. After the altercation, Usha Devi took her own life by hanging herself around 6:30 pm. Her family discovered her body and immediately alerted the authorities.

The forensic team inspected the scene, and the police have recorded statements from both Usha Devi's in-laws and her own family members. So far, the investigating officer, Ravindra Kumar, stated that there are no indications of foul play based on the testimonies gathered. The body was handed over to Usha Devi's parents after the autopsy, and the police have initiated inquest proceedings.
