4 Mar
Summary
- A woman claims she was injured by a thrown BuzzBallz at a Dodgers game.
- The lawsuit states the injury disrupted her family vacation to Disneyland.
- The suit also cites an unrelated animal cruelty case involving BuzzBallz.

Jennifer Wagner has filed a lawsuit against the Dodgers, accusing the organization of negligence following an incident at a game on August 6.
According to the lawsuit, Wagner was struck by a BuzzBallz beverage, which she claims was "thrown, dropped, or otherwise propelled" from an elevated area. She alleges immediate pain, bruising, swelling, and loss of normal arm function.
The injury reportedly derailed her planned four-day family vacation to Los Angeles and Disneyland. Wagner, accompanied by her two young children at the game, claims they experienced fear and emotional distress witnessing the event.
Wagner is also suing for premises liability, asserting the Dodgers should have foreseen the risk of harm from serving alcohol in "containers capable of being thrown or falling." She contends the team failed to warn spectators of this "dangerous condition."
She seeks unspecified damages for physical and emotional pain, loss of enjoyment, and medical expenses. A Dodgers spokesperson declined to comment on the pending litigation, and BuzzBallz has been contacted for comment.
In an unrelated incident in Los Angeles, a man was recently sentenced for feeding a BuzzBallz to a captured hawk, highlighting recent headlines involving the product.
