Doctor Accused of £2,000 Supermarket Heist

Doctor Lindsey Jae Minshew, aged 40, has been arrested in Jacksonville, Florida, on suspicion of stealing goods valued at approximately £2,000 from a Target supermarket. The arrest report indicates the alleged theft occurred on a recent Friday.

Police connected Minshew to the incident after identifying her license plate on a black Porsche 911, which was observed arriving at the store shortly before the theft. Minshew later reported the vehicle as missing. She was taken into custody at the Duval County Jail on January 23, 2026, and charged with grand theft.

Minshew was released from jail a day after her booking. She has been a licensed physician in Florida since 2012 and is also affiliated with the University of Miami hospital. Her medical license is valid until 2027, and Florida regulations permit the revocation or suspension of licenses upon criminal conviction.
