Summary

- She was found to have cocaine and a major metabolite in her system.
- Jefferis claimed her health issues stemmed from dental work in Turkey.

Leanne Jefferis, a DJ from Telford, has admitted to drug driving offenses occurring in October and November of 2025. Police stopped her on three separate occasions during this period. Documents presented in court revealed that Jefferis had high levels of benzoylecgonine, a primary metabolite of cocaine, in her system on two dates in October. In November, she was found with both cocaine and benzoylecgonine, exceeding the legal limits substantially. Specifically, she had 664 micrograms of benzoylecgonine per litre of blood, more than 13 times the legal limit of 50 micrograms per litre. She was also found with 11 micrograms of cocaine per litre of blood, just over the 10 microgram legal limit.
Jefferis, who has also been known as Leanne Abeyance, had previously used social media to share her ordeal following dental surgery in Turkey, stating that her nose had collapsed due to the procedure. She had initiated two fundraising campaigns for reconstructive surgery, which have since been removed. Appearing at Telford Magistrates Court on February 10, 2026, she pleaded guilty to the drug driving charges. She received a community order until February 9, 2027, and was disqualified from driving for two years. She was also ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs. Jefferis had previously denied cocaine was found in her system, citing her mental state and the trauma of her dental surgery experience.
