Actor Divya Suresh, a participant in Bigg Boss Kannada season 8, has recounted a disturbing experience of alleged harassment in Bengaluru. On a late Sunday night, as Suresh and her cousin were walking to their car around 11:30 PM, an unidentified man reportedly began following them.
According to Suresh's social media post, the man made obscene gestures while persistently following them until they entered their vehicle. She expressed her anguish and fear, questioning the Bengaluru Police directly about the safety measures promised to women.
The actor captured parts of the incident on camera, sharing a video that showed the man following them. This incident has amplified concerns regarding women's safety in public spaces within the city. Suresh, previously a model and a winner of the Miss India South title in 2017, has also been involved in past legal matters.
Last year, Suresh was reportedly identified as the driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run accident in Bengaluru on October 4, 2025, which left three people injured. The car involved in that incident has since been seized, and an investigation was ongoing.
