Summary
- Sean "Diddy" Combs sentenced to 4 years, 2 months in prison
- Convicted on 2 counts of transportation to engage in prostitution
- Fined $500,000 and ordered 5 years of supervised release

In a high-profile case, music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison earlier this month. Combs was found guilty in July on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution following an 8-week trial where 34 witnesses testified.
The disgraced businessman and musician was arrested in New York City last September, months after his homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided earlier in 2024. The allegations against Combs stemmed from his ex-girlfriend Casandra "Cassie" Ventura accusing him of sexual abuse crimes. She was one of the many who testified against Combs during his trial.
In addition to the prison sentence, Judge Arun Subramanian also fined Combs $500,000 and ordered 5 years of supervised release upon his exit from prison, which is currently set for May 8, 2028. Combs had pled not guilty to all 5 federal charges he faced, but was ultimately convicted on 2 of them.
