In a recent development, disgraced music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has been transferred to a low-security federal prison in New Jersey, where he is serving a 4-year sentence on charges related to prostitution. Diddy was transferred to FCI Fort Dix on October 30, several weeks after being sentenced.
At the prison, Diddy has secured a coveted assignment as a chaplain's assistant, where he is responsible for maintaining the chaplain's religious library, cleaning their office, and assisting with record-keeping. According to reports, Diddy has described the environment as "warm, respectful and rewarding." Additionally, Diddy has been placed in the Residential Drug Abuse Treatment Program, the most rigorous within the prison system, which could potentially reduce his sentence by one year.
However, Diddy has also faced some disciplinary action for making an unauthorized, three-way phone call, which violated prison rules. As a result, he has temporarily lost his phone and commissary privileges. Despite this setback, Diddy remains focused on his rehabilitation and personal growth, with his representative stating that he is "fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change."
