According to the latest information, Sean "Diddy" Combs' release date from federal prison has been pushed back to June 4, 2028, a move that comes after reports of the rapper violating prison rules.
Combs was convicted in July 2025 on federal prostitution charges and initially had a projected release date of May 8, 2028. However, the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) records now show his release has been delayed by nearly a month, to June 4, 2028.
The reasons for the updated release date are unclear, but it follows allegations that Combs faced potential disciplinary action for an unauthorized three-way phone call and for being caught with homemade alcohol made from Fanta soda, sugar, and apples. Combs' representatives have denied any wrongdoing, stating there was "nothing improper" about the phone call and that the reports of the homemade alcohol were "completely false."
