Diddy Awakens to Inmate Holding Makeshift Blade to His Throat in Jail

In a concerning turn of events, music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs recently experienced a harrowing incident while serving his sentence at the Metropolitan Detention Centre (MDC) in Brooklyn. Last month, Diddy reportedly woke up to an inmate allegedly pressing a makeshift blade to his throat in his jail cell.

The claims were made public by Diddy's longtime associate Charlucci Finney, who stated that the rapper, who is awaiting appeal in a federal sex trafficking case, received a kind of 'warning' in jail. Finney explained that while the intruder did not intend to harm Diddy, the situation could have turned deadly in an instant. "If this guy had wanted to harm him, Sean would have been harmed. It would only take a second. I believe it was a message - a warning," Finney said.

It remains unclear if prison security intervened before the incident escalated further. Diddy's legal team had previously raised concerns over threats to his life during his trial earlier this month. Following his conviction and four-year, two-month prison sentence, Combs' lawyers have now requested that he be transferred to the FCI Fort Dix facility in New Jersey, where he can participate in a drug treatment program to help him stay clean.

Meanwhile, Diddy has officially filed a notice to appeal both his conviction and sentence. The appeal will be heard by a three-judge panel in the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit in the coming weeks.
