Denise Richards' Ex-Husband Arrested on Domestic Abuse Charges

In court, Richards stated that Phypers "caused me at least three concussions" from incidents of physical abuse, including an incident on January 17, 2022, where he allegedly "slammed me up against the concrete wall and my head hit it," resulting in a black eye.
The judge in the case granted Richards a continuance of her temporary restraining order against Phypers until November 7. Phypers, who filed for divorce from Richards in July after more than six years of marriage, has denied all of Richards' abuse claims, stating "I never physically harmed Denise Richards... I never threatened to harm her... I did not threaten to kill anybody."
