3 Nov
Summary
- Passenger yelled obscenities and threats before being removed.
- New video shows violent struggle with Port Authority officers.
- Incident caused a 45-minute delay for the flight to Atlanta.

Newly obtained video footage reveals the extent of a disruptive passenger's outburst on a Delta flight at New York's JFK Airport last month. Jerome Anixter, 60, was seen violently resisting Port Authority police officers as they attempted to remove him from the aircraft. During the struggle down the aisle, Anixter repeatedly yelled, "I'm f***ing strong!" and "I love myself!"
The incident began when Delta reported a passenger who appeared intoxicated at the gate before departure to Atlanta. Police arrested Anixter on charges including assault and resisting arrest. A fellow passenger had previously shared video showing Anixter using racial slurs after he had allegedly threatened travelers. Delta stated it has zero tolerance for such behavior and thanked law enforcement for their assistance. The flight, carrying 160 passengers and 6 crew members, departed approximately 45 minutes behind schedule.
