The arrested individual, Ravi, 32, a resident of Sonipat and an engineer by profession, was taken into custody. He stated that he resorted to the knife after being slapped. The accused, who was reportedly in Aya Nagar for a wedding, was found to be in possession of the alleged weapon. Authorities have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita concerning murder and attempted murder. The investigation is ongoing, with police verifying the accused's account and potential alcohol influence during the incident.
