Delhi Police have apprehended a 61-year-old man for operating an illegal LPG refilling racket in the Seetapuri locality of Dabri.
The raid, conducted on Tuesday, uncovered an unauthorized operation where domestic LPG cylinders from various companies were being illegally stored and refilled.
Authorities recovered 17 cylinders belonging to Indane, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum. The accused was reportedly selling refilled gas at an inflated price of Rs 200 per kilogram. A food supply officer was involved in the process, and a case has been registered.
The recovered cylinders were handed over to the local police station for further action.
