Murder Arrest: Four Months After Killing, Suspect Nabbed

Authorities in Delhi have apprehended a suspect, Rizwan, in connection with a murder that took place four months prior. The victim, Amit Kumar, died from stab wounds inflicted on July 4th in Shastri Nagar. Two individuals, Abhay Gupta and Yash Kumar, were arrested shortly after the incident. Investigations revealed that Kumar was intervening in a local dispute when he was attacked. Rizwan, identified as a fugitive, was recently arrested in Burari after evading capture across multiple states including Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.

Rizwan's arrest came after extensive technical surveillance that tracked his movements across various locations. He allegedly confessed to police that the victim had stepped into an argument between Abhay and Yash, leading to the fatal stabbing. Rizwan has a prior criminal record, with three previous cases including charges of attempted murder and abduction, underscoring the violent nature of the crime.
