A shocking incident unfolded in Delhi's Ranhola area where a 28-year-old man, identified as Vinay, allegedly murdered his 24-year-old wife, Nisha, by striking her with a battery. This brutal act reportedly stemmed from suspicions about her talking to someone on the phone.
Following the fatal assault, Vinay allegedly consumed aluminum phosphide, a poisonous substance, and died by suicide. The couple, married for five years, resided as tenants in Tilangpur Kotla village and had a three-year-old daughter. Vinay reportedly took their daughter to his mother's nearby rented accommodation.
Vinay confessed to his sister, Priya, about killing Nisha and consuming poison before he succumbed to the poison. Priya's alerted neighbors, who then informed the police. Both Vinay and Nisha were declared brought dead at the hospital. Investigations are ongoing, with a case registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
