According to police reports, a control room call was received around 10:43 a.m. regarding two individuals caught with stolen iron pipes. While Neeraj was detained by the Delhi Metro security manager, his accomplice managed to escape from the scene. The authorities recovered two stolen pipes from the auto-rickshaw.
An FIR is being registered against Neeraj under sections 379 (punishment for theft) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code. The incident highlights ongoing efforts to secure public property and prevent theft of materials vital to infrastructure.
