Summary
- A 22-year-old man arrested for allegedly murdering his five-year-old cousin.
- The murder stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the man's aunt and uncle.
- The accused confessed to the crime after being caught on CCTV.

In outer Delhi's Ranhola, a 22-year-old man, Ravi Kumar, has been arrested for the alleged murder of his five-year-old cousin. The child had been reported missing since Tuesday. His body, found with neck injuries, was discovered by Kumar himself at an under-construction building near their home.
Investigations revealed that Kumar, a fish-seller and labourer, was the nephew of the child's father. The accused admitted to killing the boy to 'teach a lesson' to his aunt, the child's mother, due to existing family disputes. He allegedly took the boy to the construction site while drunk, fatally injured him with a kitchen knife, and hid the body.
Kumar initially led the family to believe the child was found deceased at the site. However, CCTV footage from the area placed the child with Kumar shortly before his disappearance. The police have recovered the murder weapon. The child's mother, initially suspected, was traced to Bihar and denied any involvement.
