Husband Kills Wife Over Suspected Affair in Delhi

A shocking incident unfolded in northeast Delhi's Jafrabad when a 36-year-old woman was found murdered inside her boutique. Her husband, Satish, 55, has confessed to the crime, citing suspicions of an extramarital affair and disapproval of her lifestyle as the motives. The couple reportedly argued, escalating into violence.

Police were alerted by a PCR call reporting the woman in an unconscious state within her shop. Upon arrival, they found her unresponsive and rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared dead. A forensic team processed the scene, and the body was sent for a post-mortem examination. The discovery of her missing mobile phone raised immediate suspicion of foul play.

Further investigation by the authorities led to the husband, Satish, who admitted to strangling his wife. The recovered mobile phone was found at his instance. A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the murder, including any prior domestic disputes.
