Deadly Diwali Shooting: 3 Arrested in Ongoing Feud

In a shocking incident just before Diwali, three men have been arrested in Chandigarh's Dadumajra area for allegedly shooting at a local resident. The suspects, identified as Ajay, Aryan, and Sagar, were involved in an ongoing feud with the victim, Vikas.

According to the police, the three accused were riding on bikes when they opened fire on Vikas on the eve of Diwali. Injured Vikas was immediately rushed to the Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, from where he was referred to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) for further treatment.

Maloya police and the crime branch team quickly reached the scene and launched an investigation. After examining CCTV footage, they were able to identify the accused and apprehend them. The police also seized a countrymade pistol and five bullets from the suspects.

The main accused, Ajay, later revealed that Vikas was allegedly involved in firing at him about two months ago, but he had escaped unharmed. On the night of the recent incident, Ajay and his two accomplices spotted Vikas alone and decided to take revenge by opening fire at him.

The three accused have been handed over to the Maloya police station for further interrogation. The authorities are determined to get to the bottom of this ongoing rivalry and ensure that justice is served.
