- Restraining order was breached immediately after being imposed.
- Victim reports feeling trapped, anxious, and has installed CCTV.

A woman convicted of criminal damage for destroying her neighbour's wisteria and assaulting her with a crutch has already breached a restraining order imposed by the court. Atidel Boutara Cook received the five-year restraining order following the attack on Pei Wong in December last year.
During her sentencing hearing, Cook blew a kiss towards her neighbours and joked about the fine, which the judge identified as an immediate breach of the restraining order. This incident occurred in the Victorian property they share in Tottenham, north London, where Cook occupies the ground floor flat.
Ms. Wong stated in an impact statement that she feels intimidated and anxious in her home, prompting the installation of CCTV. The judge emphasized that Cook's behaviour has made the lives of Ms. Wong, her husband, and their children a misery.
The attack involved Cook cutting down wisteria and other plants. When confronted by Ms. Wong, Cook reportedly grabbed her phone and struck her with her crutch. Cook was also sentenced to a 12-month community order with 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
