Teen Revenge Plot: Inside Clovis McDonald's Murder

One year ago, on April 23, 2025, Caleb Quick was shot and killed outside a McDonald's in Clovis. Loved ones recently gathered at the site to commemorate his life. Quick, a high school senior planning to join the Air Force, is remembered for his vibrant presence.

Nine days after the shooting, Clovis police released surveillance video and identified a Tesla as the suspected getaway vehicle. A teenage girl was arrested as the getaway driver, and later, a teenage boy was also apprehended. Both teens have been charged with murder.

In court recently, investigators presented a potential motive: the teenage couple allegedly committed the murder in revenge for sexual assaults attributed to Quick. However, his father has strongly refuted these claims, stating they are baseless and unsupported by any police reports.

The legal process is ongoing, with a transfer hearing for the female suspect to determine if her case will move to adult court. Caleb's family and friends have committed to attending every court date seeking justice.
