Mother Calls for Justice After 5-Year-Old Daughter's Brutal Assault

On September 13th, a 5-year-old girl from Cleveland was allegedly lured from a family member's home and brutally assaulted by a group of boys. According to the girl's mother, Antavia Kennibrew, the child was found "unrecognizable" with severe injuries.

Kennibrew described the horrific scene, saying her daughter's "hair was scalped from her head" and she had "bruises and blood all over her body." The young victim's eyes, lips, and mouth were also filled with blood, and her nails contained "debris and dirt."

The mother alleges that three boys, ages 8, 9, and 10, were responsible for the attack. She claims they beat her daughter until she lost consciousness, urinated on her, and tried to strangle her with her own shirt. The boys also allegedly sexually assaulted the child.

Kennibrew says her daughter "is not the same" since the incident, experiencing behavioral problems and mental health issues. The mother is now calling for justice, feeling she has "failed" her child by not getting the proper authorities to intervene.

The Cleveland Police Department has confirmed it is actively investigating the matter, involving both victims and suspects under the age of 10. However, they have not released additional details to protect the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of those involved.
