A shocking act of violence unfolded on Christmas Eve when a mother was critically injured after gunshots were fired through her front door. The incident, which occurred on Cronin Street in Peckham, south London, involved two male suspects who discharged seven shots at the family home.
The 21-year-old victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital, remaining in critical care over the Christmas period. Her one-year-old son was present in the home but thankfully escaped unharmed.
Authorities are appealing for witnesses, particularly those in the Cronin Street, Commercial Way, or Moody Road areas between 21:45 and 23:45 on December 24th. The suspects fled on foot, heading towards Commercial Way, and were described as wearing dark clothing.
