Fashion Icon Faces Prison for Charity Cake Scandal

Fashion influencer Chiara Ferragni is facing serious legal trouble, with charges of aggravated fraud potentially leading to up to five years in prison. The accusations are linked to a 2022 collaboration with Balocco for branded Pandoro Christmas cakes, which allegedly misrepresented charitable contributions to the Regina Margherita hospital.

Italian authorities fined Ferragni for misleading consumers, asserting that only a single donation was made by Balocco. Ferragni has called the claims unfair and a "communication error," pledging to donate her substantial fee to the hospital. She has reportedly paid a total of €3.4 million to resolve several investigations.
