A domestic dispute tragically culminated in murder when a 31-year-old auto driver allegedly killed his 30-year-old partner in Chennai. The couple, who had been living together for two years, reportedly argued after the woman returned home following a four-day unexplained absence.
The conflict intensified while they were drinking at an isolated location near the Manali fire station. During the heated exchange, the auto driver allegedly broke a bottle and used the shards to stab the woman repeatedly. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Following the incident, the driver surrendered to Vyasarpadi police. The victim's body was sent for a postmortem examination, and the suspect has been remanded to judicial custody as investigations continue.
