Another victim, Basant Sobha, who runs a Verka booth in Sector 23 market, discovered the shutter locks broken and Rs 50,000 cash along with five litres of desi ghee missing. Rajinder Kaur in Sector 37 also reported the theft of Rs 74,500 cash and multiple gold ornaments.

The Sector 39 and Sector 17 police have registered cases in all the incidents and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the burglars and recover the stolen items. Residents in the affected areas have been advised to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
