Kittens Rescued From Carrier of Horrors
27 May
Summary
- Four cats, one pregnant, were abandoned in a small carrier.
- The animals were found covered with a duvet and dumped furniture.
- Struggling owners are urged to seek help from charities instead.

Four female cats, including one who was pregnant, were found abandoned in an animal carrier on a housing estate in King's Lynn, Norfolk, on May 1st. They were discovered alongside dumped furniture and covered by a duvet.
Emily Cole, manager at the RSPCA Eau Brink Animal Centre, expressed dismay at the cats being "left like rubbish." She highlighted that the carrier was so small the cats were piled on top of each other, causing them to become hot and scared.
The pregnant cat, named Emily, has since given birth to two kittens, Egrett and Eagle. The other three cats, Emu, Elk, and Eland, have been rehomed together. The RSPCA center is currently caring for 30 cats and kittens.
Cole stressed that abandoning pets is never the solution and urged individuals facing difficulties to reach out to charities for help rather than resorting to abandonment.
