Investigators recovered medicines valued at approximately Rs 9 crore, along with Rs 50 lakh in cash, mobile phones, and packaging materials. The syndicate operated with a structured supply chain, obtaining drugs through unauthorized channels or diversion. Recovered items included 588 filled anti-cancer drug vials and 3,021 units of other medicines. The accused allegedly reused old cartons and altered batch numbers for repackaging, employing chemicals to disguise the drugs. Raids on July 11, 2026, in Delhi and Navi Mumbai led to the seizure of high-value medications. The investigation is ongoing, focusing on the sources of counterfeit drugs, diversion from medical facilities, and the financial aspects of this operation.
